To celebrate the Paris Olympics, Bumble and GoodNews Coffee partnered on “Le Cafe Bumble,” a coffee shop pop-up at 115 Boulevard Saint-Germain, 75006 in Paris. The pop-up features exclusive GoodNews merch called “Good Gifts,” a DJ, and Bumble’s exclusive drink: the Bumble Latte. This turmeric-flavored coffee with its vibrant yellow color was designed by Bumble for “sunny dates” and is available in both hot and cold options. The collaboration also includes a special giveaway in partnership with SistersAstro, offering a chance to win a 30-minute consultation session.
Known for its fun and uplifting brand personality, GoodNews Coffee continues its tradition of engaging partnerships. This collaboration marks another successful venture for the brand, following their previous partnership with Bumble for International Kindness Day in November 2023, when they set up a dating coffee cart around Paris. GoodNews has also built a reputation for collaborating with other high-profile brands, including Valentino, Uber, Asics, Levi’s, and Sephora.
My Thoughts
This collab is a perfect fit for GoodNews, as it aligns with their brand essence of creating experiences that promote positivity. Bumble made a smart move by leveraging the Olympic hype for this event. However, it would have been interesting to see a more sports-related element included, especially since we’ve seen a Cafe concept from these brands in the past.
